This is a photobook album. I prefer clean layouts and large pictures. The pictures here are of the album itself. Below is a slide show of the design pages themselves. It has a canvas cover that I just love! These are so cool. The pictures are of beautiful downtown Chicago!

Wow its beautiful! you are amazing!!
So today I got a real early start, as in before the sun went to work! More proof I have better kung fu than the sun. Anyway, we did Allison’s senior pictures today and we were everywhere from a hill at sunrise to downtown St. Louis. Here is a preview!

Brian, I just want to thank you for taking Alison’s pictures this morning. We all had a great time! It was very nice to meet you.
Thanks again Cheryl
Thanks so much for today Mr. Rickey! It was so much fun. I absolutely love these pictures and I can’t wait to see the rest!
So today I made a trek out to St. Libory IL this afternoon. Katie & Dave wanted to take their engagement pictures on the family farm, and this was the biggest farm I have ever been on in my life! They had hundreds of dairy cattle and Dave has several brothers with a great sense of humor. We had a loads of fun roaming around the farm shooting pictures and I got to climb a silo and a huge combine! Here is a quick preview!

So today I had a shoot with Julia and her daughter Nicole. I had a lovely morning shooting with these two beautiful ladies. We shot right around Westport Plaza which is a beautiful location just West of St. Louis. The weather cooperated and we missed the heat which came later in the day. Here is a quick preview!

So today I was up at 500am! Molly & Dan get up very early and we decided to start in the morning instead of the late afternoon. Sort of sunset in reverse. We started in Smithton IL and then went across the River to St. Louis! Talk about extreme locations! So two packages of tic tacs, one large energy drink and several pieces of Jolt gum motivated me to get out there and rock this session. We had a blast, these guys are just perfect for one another and it’s so easy to see that they are so much in love! I want to show everything, but for now here is a quick preview!
Eat Rite is the best diner in St. Louis!

Raise your hand if you have not heard my Parrot in the freezer joke. It’s the best!

So, I was lying on the ground in a dirty old alley to get this perspective but I think it was worth it!

Getting to this location was not an easy task. Dan actually found this old creek and a nearby bridge on Google Earth! Otherwise it is impossible for anyone to find. Also, getting out onto this log was a bit risky but I think it was worth it!

So I love love the one in front of the barn where Dan is doing his signiture move. I am a bit concerned about the triple chin I am wearing in the one in downtown smithton but I love Dan’s face in that one, he looks happy
) I love all the others too, they are really good Rickey, thanks! more please

So today I had a post wedding shoot with Monica & Hector in downtown Chicago. We had a 100% total blast and rocked Michigan Ave! We basically just wondering around the very crowded street on a beautiful Sunday afternoon parting the seas as we went. I picked out random spots and I let them be themselves. Very little direction was given to them in most of these shots. We did a lot of walking and Monica deserves a lot of credit because that dress is huge and it wasn’t exactly cool that day. A bit of ice cream though helped to keep us going. Hopefully I will be able to start shooting weddings next year in Chicago.
This first set was taken at the Chicago Art Institute, a great setting for some wedding photographs!

This is what I do. I walked up to Monica and grabbed her veil and just tossed it over her face and instantly she could not keep a straight face. I knew that look was what I wanted. I stepped back as Hector stood behind me making her crack up and without saying anything I raised the camera to my eye and *click*.

This was not an easy shot to get because everyone wanted to stop and clear the way. I didn’t want the way cleared! At one point I took the camera away from my eye and we had hundreds of polite smiling people waiting for us to get the picture. I mean they had stopped in both directions! Everyone was so nice, but I wanted them to be in the way here. So I put the 70-200 on the camera and just went towards the street and shot through the crowd.
Thank you to the nice employee at Tiffany’s that stopped traffic so we could get these shots!

These are great shots. If I ever get married, I’m putting you on retainer to do the photography.
Brian you did such an awesome job on these.
Thank you very much Hector. You guys were the perfect couple to take for a stroll up and down Michighan Ave!
