I prefer to do engagement sessions as a part of a wedding package, but I will do them independently of the wedding as well.  Just inquire for prices.  Engagement sessions for me are really more about the couple spending a day together and me capturing the moments of that day.  I rarely pose anyone and my couples know by the time of the wedding after an engagement session with me if they try to pose themselves I will generally take the camera away from eye!  Sessions generally last 2-3 hours and I usually like to go to at least 3 destinations.  I can do engagements at any time of the year and in any weather conditions.   

All my engagement sessions come with the following:

1.  An on line gallery with full screen slide show

2.  The option to order prints directly from the on line gallery

3.  The option to purchase a DVD of the photographs

4.  A 8×8 guest book

 I am interested in starting to do some weddings in Chicago so I will be availble for engagement sessions there as well!

Shooting kids is quickly becoming one of my favorite things to do.  Shooting children can be so much fun, especially when you let them be just who they are.  I prefer to start all shoots with children in their natural environments: their homes.    My goal is to catch their personalities and it’s usually best to start at a place they feel comfortable at.   Generally a session can last anywhere from 2-3 hours.  I can shoot them any time of the year, not just when the weather is warm!  My sessions are incredible laid back.  I’m really more of an observer and I rarely pose anyone.    Most of the time I encourage you to go about an activity while I capture all the great moments, so my sessions are about you spending time with your family as much as they are about getting your pictures taken. 

All of my sessions come with the following:

1.  A second shoot option:  If for any reason we can’t finish a shoot, then I will reschedule for no extra fees.   I feel this is a great option, especially for children who we sometimes catch at the wrong times. 

2.  An on-line gallery with slide show.  You can use this gallery to show off the photographs to your friends and family, and it can also be used for ordering purposes.

3.  I have a full line of print items including custom press books.
